SAIC is seeking a Security Analyst located in Pearl City in Hawaii to support the USINDOPACOM J7 Security Officer to conduct periodic vulnerability compliance audits and assist in the development of security protocols and procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Provide comprehensive analytical support to the J7 Security Officer, ensuring compliance with DoD and agency security regulations and policies.
  • Implement, monitor, and document security policies, programs, and procedures to protect enterprise systems, files, and data elements, while conducting periodic vulnerability assessments and compliance audits.
  • Support the INDOPACOM J7 Security Team by tracking and analyzing relevant security data, managing security clearances and access control, and monitoring security incidents, preparing reports for further action.
  • Assist in the development and synchronization of security protocols and procedures, ensuring efficient communication and workflow management across various departments and stakeholders.
  • Adapt and respond to changing security structures and workflows, facilitating efficient security process improvements and maintaining operational continuity, while contributing to task redistribution analysis.
  • Collaborate with IT and other relevant departments to ensure cohesive security measures, supporting security training and awareness programs, and preparing documentation for security audits, assessments, and related meetings.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s and two (2)+ years’ of related experience; additional four years of experience accepted in lieu of degree. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Familiarity with security software and task management tools.
  • Understanding security compliance frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

DESIRED SKILLSET: 

  • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) software and systems.
  • Experience with security systems and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills for documentation and process improvement.
  • Spreadsheet support skills, particularly in maintaining and analyzing security data.
  • Experience in security audits, compliance, and incident response processes.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

  • Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TSSCI.
  • Must have current US Citizenship.
