Impact Statement: | The Loan Servicer I supports accurate and timely loan servicing by entering, maintaining, and validating loan data to ensure reliable account administration. |
Objectives: | - Process routine loan payments, maintenance requests, and account updates accurately and timely
- Enter and validate loan data within servicing systems to ensure accurate account administration
- Identify discrepancies in documentation or system records, escalating for resolution
- Support internal and external customers with routine loan servicing inquiries
- Maintain organized and compliant documentation of servicing activities

Responsibilities: | - Keeps track and verifies data and source documents.Â
- From source document, identifies and interprets data to be entered to loan system.Â
- Informs supervisor of any discrepancies found in the loan packages such as inconsistencies, missing data, or source document, and finds resolution to questions.Â
- Enters alphabetic or numeric data from source documents into JH system, and enters necessary codes.Â
- Makes necessary corrections to information entered.Â
- Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.Â
- Reviews loan account maintenance requests and enters maintenance on JH system.Â
- Prepares and process disbursements and loan fees.Â
- Files and routes source documents after entry.Â
- Prepares correspondence for payoff and loan verification requests, process loan payments from the mail, and sends notices to the customer.Â
- Provides routine office support such as answering phones, filing, and making copies of documents.Â
- Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong understanding of mathematical concepts with quantitative aptitude
Familiar with Jack Henry System, preferred | Service-oriented and technical communication skills, both written and verbal, to gather and analyze detailed informationÂ
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and organization
Basic MS Suite proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook | Previous experience in a detail-intensive role requiring accuracy and adherence to established processes
Prior experience in loan operations or a documentation preparation role in a banking environment, preferred |
