UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics is hiring a Full-Time Patient Services Representative to support the office in Camp Hill.

Weekend and evening availability required to support the hours of operation.

Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Interaction: Greet patients, assist with check-in, collect copayments, and update information.
  • Scheduling: Arrange follow-up appointments and connect patients to services.
  • Support: Help patients navigate the healthcare system and provide clear instructions.
  • Technology: Register patients in Biometrics and promote MyUPMC portal.
  • Financial Advocacy: Educate patients on financial responsibilities and connect them to resources.
  • Compliance: Verify insurance, obtain consent signatures, and follow HIPAA regulations.
  • Admin Tasks: Handle phone calls, scan records, and perform office duties.


  • Completion of high school or equivalent required.
  • Experience with personal computer-based applications, various office equipment, and proficient typing skills preferred.
  • Two years of experience in a medical, billing, fiscal, or customer service role preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Prior experience with Medipac, Epic, or other health records systems preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73.
