Position Summary

The Chief Logistician serves as the senior logistics professional responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing supply operations supporting government mission requirements. This position oversees property accountability, inventory management, supply chain operations, and logistics planning while ensuring compliance with Army regulations and property accountability requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage logistics operations.
• Supervise supply personnel.
• Oversee property accountability.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Manage GCSS-Army operations.
• Develop logistics procedures.
• Coordinate equipment accountability.
• Conduct inventories.
• Support government inspections.
• Maintain logistics documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Army supply regulations.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum five years of logistics experience.
• Minimum two years using GCSS-Army.
• Extensive knowledge of Army Supply System.
• Knowledge of DoD Property Book regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• American Society of Transportation and Logistics certification.
• International Society of Logistics certification.
• Defense Property Accountability System experience.

Security Clearance
