Facility Operations Manager

Position Summary

K2 Solutions is seeking a highly organized and experienced Facility Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, maintenance, logistics coordination, and administrative support for a government training and mission support facility. The Facility Operations Manager ensures facilities, equipment, infrastructure, and support services remain fully operational to support mission readiness and customer requirements. This position serves as the primary point of coordination for facility operations, maintenance scheduling, contractor support, and government customer interaction.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day facility operations supporting government mission requirements.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Oversee contractor personnel supporting facility operations.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, safety standards, and security policies.
  • Develop operational procedures and facility management plans.
  • Monitor facility infrastructure and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with government representatives regarding facility requirements and priorities.
  • Track work orders and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure mission spaces remain operational and available.
  • Maintain accountability of government-furnished property.
  • Prepare reports, schedules, and operational metrics.
  • Support inspections and audits.
  • Coordinate emergency response and continuity of operations activities.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA and applicable Army regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience managing government or military facilities.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Experience supervising contractor personnel.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Department of Defense experience.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Army Special Operations.
  • Knowledge of Army facility management systems.
  • PMP or Facility Management Professional certification.
