Security Specialist Personnel

Position Summary

The Security Specialist supports physical security operations by implementing and maintaining security procedures that protect government personnel, facilities, equipment, and classified resources. This position assists with inspections, security assessments, access control procedures, and compliance with Department of Defense security regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct physical security inspections.
• Evaluate facility vulnerabilities.
• Assist with access control procedures.
• Prepare security documentation and reports.
• Investigate physical security incidents.
• Coordinate with installation security personnel.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and Army security regulations.
• Recommend corrective actions.
• Support emergency response planning.
• Maintain security records.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum one year of experience performing physical security activities.
• Knowledge of physical security principles and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Military police or physical security background.
• Experience supporting DoD facilities.
• Experience with Army physical security regulations.

Security Clearance

• Active Secret Clearance.
