Salary: $60,000-$100,000 based on experience and ability to reduce owner’s day to day responsibilities.

The FloorWorks Group is a leading provider of premium flooring solutions, specializing in hardwood, carpet, tile, and vinyl installation for both residential and commercial clients. In addition to flooring, we also have a cabinetry division to provide vanities, kitchen cabinetry as well as countertops. Job Summary: We are seeking an energetic, results-driven General Manager (GM) to oversee daily operations, drive sales growth, and lead our sales and installation teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the flooring or construction industry, excellent financial acumen, and a passion for leading teams to meet revenue targets. Â Strong organizational and time management skills will be needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Manage all facets of the flooring company's operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality installations and customer satisfaction.
- Sales & Growth: Drive sales growth by managing the sales team, developing strategies to reach and retain new builders/contractors/installers, and fostering a cohesive team.
- Financial Management: Knowledgeable in and oversee all aspects of P&L, including budgeting, purchasing and achieving gross margin targets.
- Lead Generation/Marketing: Collaborate on marketing strategies to generate leads, find new local contractors and builders, and grow installer base to meet revenue targets.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and mentor staff, including sales consultants, project managers, and installation crews to ensure a cohesive team that can provide a quality customer experience.
- Customer Experience: Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally to maintain a high level of customer experience.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of operational and/or leadership experience in flooring, home improvement, or construction industries.
- Sales Leadership: Minimum 3 years of sales leadership experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings and knowledge of flooring materials.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry software (e.g., QFloors, Measure Square).
