Healthcare United is seeking a full-time Neurology Pain Management Physician to join an established outpatient pain management practice in Fort Pierce, Florida.

This is an interventional-heavy pain management position rather than a traditional general neurology role. The physician will maintain a strong procedural schedule while evaluating and treating acute and chronic pain conditions related to personal injury and workers’ compensation cases.

Candidates must have direct PI and workers’ compensation experience and understand the detailed assessment, documentation, medical necessity, and care coordination requirements involved with these patients.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a strong interventional pain procedure schedule
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
• Treat personal injury and workers’ compensation patients
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Perform appropriate interventional pain procedures
• Review diagnostic imaging, medical histories, and previous treatment records
• Document objective findings, diagnoses, medical necessity, and patient progress
• Coordinate care with referring providers, case managers, attorneys, and clinical staff when appropriate
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, procedures, and treatment expectations
• Monitor treatment outcomes and modify care plans as needed

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
• Pain Medicine fellowship training or substantial interventional pain experience
• Personal injury and workers’ compensation experience required
• Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
• Strong procedural, diagnostic, and documentation skills
• No visa sponsorship available
