Electrician

This position is based in Canal Winchester, but will require occasional travel throughout the Columbus region.

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician with a diverse skill set in residential service to join our team. As an electrician at Five Star, you will play a vital role in providing top-quality electrical service/install to our clients in the Dayton area.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, adhering to local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Perform electrical inspections, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions to ensure the efficient functioning of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results within designated timelines.
• Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a self-starter attitude and strong communication skills to work with colleagues and deliver projects successfully and effectively.
• Doing service calls

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as electrician in residential projects, with a deep understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes, safety guidelines, and best practices.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate with clients and colleagues.
