Responsibilities and Impact:Ā Ā
The Business Analyst will drive requirements definition, stakeholder facilitation, and delivery execution for TMO TSAāexit and DSG portfolio initiatives, translating strategy into clear, testable artifacts, managing the requirements lifecycle (prioritization, traceability, change control), supporting UAT, and monitoring risks and dependencies. By partnering with TMO and DSG PMO leadership, the analyst will ensure alignment, operational readiness, and consistent governance,Ā ultimately improvingĀ execution certainty, delivery quality, and PMO maturity.Ā

RequirementsĀ ManagementāÆā Elicit and document business needs, scope,Ā objectives, assumptions, and constraints; produce clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria;Ā maintainĀ requirements traceability from intake through delivery.Ā
StakeholderĀ &Ā PartnerĀ FacilitationāÆā Partner with business and technology leaders to align on desired outcomes;Ā facilitateĀ workshops to drive decisions, clarify priorities, and resolve ambiguity across functions.Ā
Process & Operational ReadinessĀ ā AssessĀ currentstateĀ processes and designĀ futurestateĀ workflows;Ā identifyĀ operational impacts (people, process, policy), readiness needs, and adoption considerationsāespecially for TSA exits and transition to steady state.Ā
Delivery Execution Support (Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall)āÆā Translate needs into theĀ appropriate deliveryĀ artifacts (e.g., epics/features/user stories or BRDs); support backlog refinement or scope baselining; manage requirement changes through governance and approvals.Ā
Dependency, Risk & Issue SupportāÆā Identify and trackĀ crossteamĀ dependencies andĀ requirementdrivenĀ risks/issues; provideĀ timelyĀ escalation inputs and decision support toĀ maintainĀ delivery timelines.Ā
Testing & Validation (UAT Support)āÆā Define UAT approach with stakeholders; create test scenarios based on requirements; coordinate business testing, triage defects,Ā validateĀ outcomes, and support signoff.Ā
Communication & Status ReportingāÆā Provide concise updates on requirements status, decisions needed, risks/dependencies, and readiness; ensure stakeholders understand what is changing and why.Ā
Governance & PMO Standards ContributorāÆā Follow and help improve DSG PMO standards (templates, quality checks,Ā definitionofready/done inputs, traceability practices); promote consistent documentation and auditability.Ā
Continuous ImprovementāÆā Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data/controls, reduce manual effort, and enhance customer/user experience; recommend measurable improvements aligned to DSG priorities.Ā

Qualifications:Ā
7+ years of Business Analyst experienceāÆsupporting complex, cross-functional initiatives (business + technology) from intake through delivery.Ā
StrongĀ requirementsĀ managementĀ expertise, including elicitation, documentation, prioritization, traceability, and change control using Agile, hybrid, and/or Waterfall methods.Ā
Proven ability toĀ facilitateĀ workshops and drive alignmentāÆamong senior stakeholders.Ā
Solid process analysis skillsāÆ(current/future state mapping), with the ability to translate business workflows into actionable delivery requirements.Ā
Experience supporting testing and validation, including UAT planning, test scenario development, defect triage, and business sign-off.Ā
Strong dependency, risk, and issue management capabilities, withĀ a track recordĀ ofĀ identifyingĀ cross-teamĀ impactsĀ early and escalating effectively.Ā
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear artifacts and concise status updates for leadership audiences.Ā
ExperienceĀ operatingĀ within PMO governance, contributing to standards, templates, and quality controls to improve consistency and delivery outcomes.Ā
ProficiencyĀ with common BA and delivery tools, such as Jira and Confluence (or equivalent), plus Visio/LucidchartĀ (or equivalent) and Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint).Ā
Ability to work effectively in ambiguity, driving structure, clarity, and momentum in fast-moving, high-visibility environments.Ā
Bachelorās degree or equivalent practical experienceāÆin Business, Information Systems, or a related field (MBA or BA certificationĀ a plus).Ā
Ā WeĀ requireĀ all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we canĀ proceedĀ to an offer.
