Position: Houseperson (Full-Time)

Reports to: Housekeeping Manager

Job Summary: Keep public areas clean, stock and clean housekeeping storage areas, perform all deep cleaning of hotel rooms and public areas, move furniture, polish hardwood floors, polish marble, and clean bathrooms.

Essential Functions:

Clean restrooms as needed. Replenish supplies, cleaning/sanitizing counters, sinks, toilets, partitions, emptying trash, and mopping floors.
Clean public areas as needed. Remove debris, vacuum, sweep, mopping floors, and dusting.
Delivering and stocking housekeeping supplies to guestroom floor storage areas, distributing clean linen.
Cleaning of housekeeping closets on all floors, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing and trash removal.
Returning all restaurant glassware to stewarding.
Assist room attendants with striping linens and terry as needed.
Report room/public space repairs to the proper department.
Ensure guest hallways are always clean and free of debris.
Deep clean guest rooms, lobby, hallways, public areas as directed.
Respond and speak clearly to guest’s request in a pleasant and professional manner.
Attend daily pre-shift meetings.

Job Requirements:

Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays as necessary.
Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Lift/carry up to 50 pounds and be able to push carts up to 250 pounds.
