Lifeguard

Description

The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons including accident prevention in the water and on surrounding areas as well as the rescue & care of accident victims.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with & enforce the policies, procedures and regulations of Roseland Waterpark
• Present oneself in a professional manner at all times
• Prevent accidents & minimize or eliminate hazardous conditions
• Respond quickly to all emergency situations
• Administer any first aid needed by a victim of an accident
• Educate guests and inform them of the purpose & need for rules and regulations
• Attend all weekly training sessions
• Complete all records & reports as required
• Perform other support duties as required

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Age 16 or older
• Ability to relate to staff and guests
• Required certification: Current Ellis and Associates Lifeguard Certification (provided through Roseland Waterpark)
• Must have weekend availability and flexible weekday availability

• Hours of employment are dependent on business demands
