Mountain Community Health Partnership (MCHP) is seeking a full-time Nursing Team Lead. The Nursing Team Lead provides direct patient care while serving as a front-line leader for clinical staff. This role supports daily clinic operations, promotes high standards of patient care, and acts as a liaison between nursing staff and management. This Nursing Team Lead works under the supervision of the RN Nurse Manager and clinical providers and functions as a clinical resource for licensed and unlicensed team members. This position requires strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing and clinical support staff.
  • Coordinate and support patient flow to ensure timely, efficient care. 
  • Implement approved standing orders, protocols, vaccinations, screenings, and lab orders. 
  • Participate in daily huddles and quality improvement activities. 
  • Organize and delegate clinical duties according to scope. 
  • Support staff scheduling, problem resolution, and workflow coordination. 
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training of clinical staff. 
  • Act as a liaison between staff and management, escalating concerns as appropriate. 


Qualifications: 

  • Education: Active NC Registered Nurse Licensure. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of medical office experience. Prior lead, supervisory, or management experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Sound judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality and respect.
