Fyda Freightliner is looking for Service Technician in Youngstown, Ohio.   Diesel Technician responsibilities Diagnose and repair all components of tractors and trailers Combine personal experience with broad knowledge of Electronic Control Module diagnostic programming. Repair of all major power and drive train components Preventative maintenance inspections and services Repair, align and adjust suspension systems Test and repair entire truck chassis electrical system Disassemble and rebuild diesel engines Perform road tests if employee has a CDL Positive attitude, courteous and professional Participate in care and upkeep of shop, equipment, and tools Record all work and labor on a computer   Fyda Benefits Excellent pay based on experience Salary + Commission Superior bonus program Paid time off Paid holidays Paid uniforms Paid hospitalization & prescription program Excellent 401K programs Dental insurance available Flex spending available On-going Freightliner, Detroit and Cummins training Freightliner and Detroit Diesel factory trained in-house instructor Great working atmosphere Drug free workplace Sign on bonus QualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with employees and foremen. Complete knowledge of in house business systems and along with other partner systems. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and maintain composure. Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines. Ability to lift 150 pounds Ability to pass a background check and drug test Must have a clean MVR   Physical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
