We're looking for a dedicated Health Care Professional with experience in medical office settings to join us as a Certified Medical Assistant located in Greenville, NC.The right candidate will have Patient Care, Customer Service and/or Medical Office experience and be able to thrive in a team environment in a very busy clinic.


Must hold Current MA , RA or EMT Cert.

FLSA Status :Non-Exempt (hourly)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm with rotating early and late shifts; required one Saturday per month聽

Summary:Responsible for assisting MD/PA with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks in a professional and efficient manner to provide optimal patient care in accordance with the practice鈥檚 core values of Excellence, Innovation, Collaboration, Advancement, Stewardship, and Patient Centered Care.

This position requires compliance with OrthoEast鈥檚 compliance standards, including its Code of Conduct, Compliance Program, and policies and procedures. Such compliance will be an element required as part of the Patient Services Representative's job duties and is considered during performance evaluations.


Education and/or Experience:

Successful completion of a post secondary medical assisting program and have current certification from one of the following agencies is required:

  • The American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA-CMA)
  • The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP)
  • The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), CMA designation
  • The American Medical Technologists (AMT), Registered designation
  • The National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), NCMA designation
  • OR EMT Certification with experience

CPR certification.

Nursing skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age and condition of patient.

Basic computer skills.

Experience in maintaining confidentiality in dealing with sensitive issues.

Proven ability in making sound and accurate judgments in problem solving work issues.

Successful record of follow through on commitments and demonstrated dependability.
