Aquatech has an immediate need for a full-time Electrician to work in our Canonsburg, PA location. The Electrician will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered a non-exempt employee. The ideal candidate will be able to inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment. This candidate will also have good organizational skills and the ability to troubleshoot.   Minimum Qualifications / Experience: Associate's Degree or certificate from an accredited school OR HS Diploma or GED equivalent OR One (1) or more years’ experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three (3) or more years of experience or more as an electrician, preferably in an industrial environment.   Job Description: Read and understand mechanical & electrical blueprints Read and understand P&ID (Piping & Instrument Diagram) Design, fabricate, and install all types of wiring conduit Pull and land wires Wire junction boxes Assemble and wire electrical components,s including: o Motors o Instruments o Terminal strips o Panduit o Heat tracing Print and install the wire label.ls Perform electrical maintenance in the shop. Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies,s and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment. Takes appropriate measures to ensure safety in the workplace; attends monthly safetmeetingsng as required; notifithe es manager immediately (within 24 hours) of workplace injury and ensures appropriate policies and procedures are followed; Reports potential safety hazards immediately to the manager.   Skill Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and maintain a positive attitude and good organizational skills. Ability to plan and manage multiple projects. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to demonstrate attention to detail. Basic knowledge of low and high-voltage systems Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the electrical field.
