Job DetailsJob Location: Canton, MA 02021Salary Range: $25.00 - $29.00 HourlyThe Finance Assistant provides administrative and financial support to the finance department by assisting with daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely processing of financial transactions. This role is responsible for tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing and verification of hours, data entry, invoice processing, account reconciliations, expense tracking, and preparing financial reports. The Finance Assistant works closely with internal departments and external vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures while contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of the organization's financial operations. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications are essential for success in this role. Qualifications  Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar administrative role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic financial analysis. Experience using accounting or ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Business Central NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) is preferred. Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.
