About the Role:

Favarh is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. In this role, you will conduct behavioral assessments, develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans, and monitor progress for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

Your goal will be to improve the quality of life for individuals served by promoting positive behavior change, teaching adaptive skills, and reducing challenging behaviors. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of professionals to ensure coordinated, person-centered care and the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Behavior Assessment & Intervention:

  • Conduct behavioral assessments to identify target behaviors and skill deficits
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Monitor, evaluate, and adjust plans based on data and client progress

Collaboration & Support:

  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to staff, families, and caregivers
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, client-centered care
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and planning sessions

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans
  • Ensure compliance with agency, state, and professional standards of care

Crisis Management & Skill Development:

  • Utilize crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques as needed
  • Promote skill acquisition and positive behavior through applied behavior analysis (ABA)


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required)
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills


Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel between program sites and community settings as needed
  • May require standing/walking for several hours at a time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Work occurs in clinical, community, and office settings
