Responsibilities

This position is responsible for ensuring all Cardiology departments have all the supplies and instruments necessary for efficient and effective patient care. That includes performing a regular inventory of supplies and placing orders to maintain pre-determined stocking levels. Responsibilities include receiving and reconciling all supply orders, replenishing supply locations and processing all in and out-bound freight.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED 
  • Two years of previous experience in material/supply inventory and/or distribution, purchasing, or closely related field. 
  • Knowledge and experience in the usage and application of computers and relevant word processing programs. 
  • Successful completion of Hazardous Materials Handling training within 1 year of hire.  
  •  

    PREFERRED:

  • Previous experience in a hospital setting or cardiology setting preferred 
  • Experience working independently, using judgment and problem solving skills as necessary to resolve customer service issues and order discrepancies. 
  • Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM):

    8a-4:30p
