Co-Lead Twos Teacher Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum and Instruction
- Â Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities in partnership with your co-teacherÂ
- Â Foster a love of learning through creative and engaging teaching methodsÂ
- Â Observe and assess children's development and adjust activities accordinglyÂ
Classroom Management
- Â Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment for two-year-oldsÂ
- Â Manage daily routines and transitions smoothlyÂ
- Â Support toddlers as they develop independence and social-emotional skillsÂ
- Â Assist children with important milestones, including potty training, using patience, consistency, and positive guidanceÂ
Family Communication
-  Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child’s progress and daily activitiesÂ
- Â Conduct parent-teacher conferences and provide regular updatesÂ
- Â Encourage family involvement and participation in school activitiesÂ
Health and Safety
- Â Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom and common areasÂ
- Â Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and proceduresÂ
- Â Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-beingÂ

Qualifications:
-  High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferredÂ
- Â Child Development Associate (CDA) preferredÂ
-  1–2 years of previous experience working with toddlers or young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferredÂ
- Â Experience supporting potty training routines with patience and positive reinforcementÂ
- Â Successfully completed state-required pre-service trainingÂ
- Â Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty membersÂ
- Â Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of childrenÂ
