Part-Time-24-28 hours per week
The Registration Operations Specialist is primarily responsible for providing support for overall service center operations and facility reservations at Girl Scouts of North East Ohio (GSNEO) and serving customers in person at the North Canton service center for retail transactions, inquiries, and reservations. The Specialist provides expedient and accurate support to their teammates and to customers, consistent with Girl Scouts of North East Ohio’s (GSNEO) expectation of providing the highest level of customer service while effectively attaining organizational goals.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Enhances the customer-centric environment in council facilities by delivering highest-quality service to both internal and external customers.
- Promotes customer satisfaction in alignment with the values and ideals of the Girl Scout Promise and Law. arents, community members, external organizations, and colleagues.
- Provides support across specific areas of a multi-channel contact center and the registration system, directly assisting with the administration and facilitation of customer reservations and facility access and information.
- Completes administrative details and functions on customer records within the customer relationship management software (CRM) and/or registration system accurately and quickly.
- Engages or responds to customers in person, by phone, in writing (email, live chat), or via other means.
- Reviews reservation reports, identifies outreach needs, and facilitates access fob or key pick-up for customers at assigned service center.
- Provides Retail Shop coverage in accordance with schedule.
- Stocks shelves, counters, and/or tables with merchandise that is attractively displayed.
- Keeps current with GSUSA and GSNEO programs and products to support related customer inquiries.
- Service Area Facility Operations as scheduled or assigned, may be completing the following.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Provide general “front desk” support, such as copying, filing, equipment check out, or other office management tasks.
- Periodic travel and flexible scheduling to help with council initiatives is required,
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or a combination of related work experience.
- 1-3 years of customer service and/or administrative experience.
- Ability to skillfully use a variety of questions and other active listening techniques to promote a robust discussion with members/customers and identify needs.
- Proven record of functioning as a self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight and take initiative; demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, self-management, and organization, and a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate the written and spoken word with tact, diplomacy, and/or authority when necessary (i.e. in person, verbal, written, phone, and/or via other electronic media); expresses ideas and facts in a clear and understandable manner appropriate for the individual or group; listens to and comprehends what others are saying.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues, obstacles, or opportunities that may impact plans or actions; manage competing priorities and deadlines; establish courses of action for accomplishing goals while attending to and incorporating information obtained during day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Excellent technical computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook; Demonstrated ability to learn and become proficient with other software, including but not limited to Salesforce, and flexibility to adapt to new processes.
