Security Officer

Schedule Monday through Friday - 10:30am - 7:00pm

As a Security Officer, you will support the safety and security of DXL’s corporate offices and distribution center operations.

Using your experience working as a security officer, you will play a key role in supporting DXL’s mission by: 

• Monitoring all individuals entering and exiting the facility, issuing and collecting visitors, temporary associate, and contractor badges as needed, and ensuring all individuals sign in and out on the log with proper ID verification
• Monitoring all CCTV cameras and monitoring access systems
• Handling shipping and receiving of trailers/containers while following all corporate CT-PAT Regulations
• Conducting interior facility tours and reporting any security, safety or suspicious issues immediately
• Recognizing and addressing security threats, fire situations, and medical concerns within the property

 We’re looking for someone:

• With a High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education
• Who is Bilingual in English and Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole (preferred, not required)
• With computer experience and the ability to learn new computer systems 

The hiring range for this position is $18.85- $22.15. While the compensation within the posted range will vary based on experience, skill set, and internal equity, it is uncommon for new hires to be placed at the top of the range. This is a bonus eligible position.
