Toddler Teacher Assistant – Early Learning Classroom
The Learning Experience – Canton is seeking a dependable Toddler Teacher Assistant to support children during an important stage of language development, independence, and social-emotional growth.
This role focuses on helping maintain a nurturing and engaging classroom environment through structured routines, hands-on learning activities, and positive teacher-child interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Â Assist with toddler classroom routines and daily activitiesÂ
- Â Support language development and positive social interactionÂ
- Â Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environmentÂ
- Â Assist with meals, diapering, and classroom transitionsÂ
- Â Support developmentally appropriate learning activities and classroom centersÂ
- Â Communicate professionally with families and teaching team membersÂ
- Â Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policiesÂ
Qualifications
- Â Prior childcare experience requiredÂ
- Â CDA preferred but not requiredÂ
- Â Experience working with toddlers preferredÂ
- Â Reliable, patient, and team-oriented approachÂ
- Â Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
