Currently seeking qualified candidates for our open Receptionist/Office Manager position our Canton Office.

Hours 7:30am - 1:30pm (Mon-Friday). 30 hours per week


Personalized Nursing LIGHT House is a premier behavioral health care provider with 34 years of specialized addiction treatment service serving the adult population. We have locations in Plymouth, Canton, and Madison Heights. Our mission is to be an innovative and effective behavioral healthcare corporation (utilizing the LIGHT model of care), that strives for excellence clinically as well as administratively. Specifically, our intent is to increase client well-being, decrease addiction severity, improve the quality of clients' mental and physical heath and contribute positively to society. All services will integrate substance use disorder, mental health and primary health care treatment in cohesive and client-centered programs.

Position Summary:

Under direction of the Site Director, this position provides exceptional customer service, preforms administrative tasks as well as office management of client kitchen and supplies for the Canton IOPD program.


Key tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Answer phones and greet clients in office

2. Check-in and administer breathalyzer test to all clients daily

3. Be timely and courteous when handling all customer interactions and administrative duties.

4. Create new medical record within 24 hours of client admission

5. Break down medical record by the end of the week of all discharged clients

6. Conducts quality assurance reviews of medical records of discharged clients within one week of their discharge.

7. Cheerfully relate to staff and clients – set the tone for the healing environment, which is essential for PNLH’s success.

8. Process billing for program participants

9. Files charting accurately with the goal being completed daily (minimum completed weekly)

10. Manage the client kitchen, refilling/stocking food, proactively ordering supplies, light cleaning

11. Maintain office supplies, light cleaning to maintain a welcoming environment.

12. Show compassion to all. 

13. Other duties as assigned


Educational Requirements: 

High School Diploma or GED.


Experience/Requirements: 

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple requests at the same time.
  • Good verbal and communication skills, required. 


Preferred Experience:

  • Previous office experience desired. Database and Excel experience preferred. 
  • Previous billing experience preferred.


Supervisor:

This position reports to the Site Director.
