TEL Staffing is seeking a CAD Drafterto work for a manufacturing facility in Cantonment FL.

Position Overview:
The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, 3D models, and visualizations that support manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate has experience in Autodesk (AutoCAD) and/or SolidWorks and a solid foundation in design principles, materials, and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk and SolidWorks.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into production-ready designs.
Create renderings, exploded views, and animations for client presentations and approvals.
Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes.
Maintain accurate documentation and version control of design files.
Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Autodesk (AutoCAD) and/or SolidWorks.
Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or product development environments—or completed coursework from an accredited college.
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical design, fabrication, and construction principles.
Preferred experience with steel structures, electrical circuits/wiring, or construction detailing.
Familiarity with design workflows and processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
Knowledge of dimensioning, tolerancing, and material selection.
Excellent spatial awareness and strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
MUST be able to pass a preemployment drug screening AND background check.

Schedule:
Full-Time
Monday – Friday ....... 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Salary/Pay Rate:
The starting salary for this position will be based on your current level of experience
