What You'll Do
- Directly support the government customer in overseeing and advising all aspects of product design and integration, including requirements definition, design reviews, experiments, prototyping, testing, production and integration.
- Collaborate with multiple SSP industry partners and develop tailored solutions
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in design reviews, trade studies, requirements development, and other technical meetings
- Offer a broad knowledge of missile architecture and significant experience in Instrumentation testing and development.
- Mentor new FBM employees and junior engineers directly support the US Navy’s Fleet Ballistic Missile Program resiliency.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders both verbally and in writing
What You Bring to the Table
- Master’s degree in systems engineering and/or bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science
- 9+ years of experience in US Navy Fleet Ballistic Missile avionics and Electrical Ground Support Equipment integration, deployment and failure review boards
- An active DoD security clearance at the TOP SECRET level (or have held an active DoD clearance within the last 2 years)
- Development experience in US Navy Fleet Ballistic Missile avionics, Test Missile Kit, X-Flight, Life Extension Programs and Electrical Ground Support Equipment
- A willingness to work in a team environment and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks
- High quality communication and presentation dexterity
- Excellent computer/technology skills
- Ability to analyze technical data and present findings to customers
- Experience with testing activities in both system modification and development
⭐Bonus Points
- Agile Workflow experience using JIRA, JavaScipt or similar software
- CAMEO, Python, MATLAB, C++, Windchill EPDM, Eclipse, Model Based System Engineering experience
- Experience working with Draper Labs and/or SP23
