What We Are Looking For 

The Facilities Group National is looking for an energetic maintenance technician to keep our clients’ facilities maintained and in good order. You will be responsible for maintaining a facility by completing a variety of maintenance tasks and projects to keep the buildings in order. To work well in this role, you should have some maintenance experience and basic knowledge of various maintenance equipment and procedures. 

This position is based in an aeronautics facility. 

Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM

Maintenance Responsibilities: 

  • Perform preventative maintenance for the building and fixtures on a daily, weekly, monthly, and as needed basis. 
  • Makesroutine inspections of all facilities.
  • Ensure effective, timely, and professional interactions on all maintenance services provided. 
  • Completes maintenance work orders andfollows-up with thesite supervisor and client to ensure satisfaction.
  • Identifies, diagnoses, repairs, and resolves electrical, plumbing, and other maintenance issues and accurately completes required paperwork. 
  • Perform basic electrical repairs on items such as light fixtures, switches, outlets, etc. and light plumbing work such as clearing stoppages, replacing fittings, etc. 
  • Ensure all regulatory obligations relating to the execution of operational duties of maintenance team are completed as required 
  • Perform minor repairs. 
  • Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs 
  • Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision. 
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor. 

Maintenance Technician Requirements: 

  • Ability to manage your time efficiently. 
  • Work well when supervisors are not present. 
  • Must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities anddeadlinewithhighdegree of optimism, professionalism, and skill.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and working knowledge of tools, common 

appliances. 

  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving ability. 
  • Able to work independently or with a team. 
  • Able to use basic cleaning equipment. 
  • High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. 
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. – We Use E-Verify
