Job DetailsJob Location: Cape Girardeau, MO 63701Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $44,000.00 - $46,000.00 Salary/year 2026 Employee Job Description Position Title: Group Mentoring Manager POSITION PURPOSE: The primary goal of this position is to ensure children, youth, and young adults served in our ABCToday Schools program enjoy the full benefits of our Roadmap - Theory of Change Framework. Outcomes/Goals •   Organize Group Mentoring Program: Enroll students and families into Group Mentoring program with a goal of twenty active youth Ensure weekly check-ins occur between assigned mentors and mentees Lead and organize group mentoring meetings, experiences, and activities in partnership with mentors Work with community champions and school district to plan activities and experiences for youth following the BBBSEMO Theory of Change. Document challenges and successes for youth in Matchforce at least once monthly for each mentee, including utilization of the Achievement Tracker developed in partnership with each mentee Develop and implement plans for parent engagement, including monthly check-ins with parents and home visits, when parents have not been reached by documented attempts. (at least three (3) phone calls, text messages, formal letters). •   Partner with School:  Collaborate with school principal and representatives to identify and recruit youth and families into the program Work primarily from the school (a minimum of four (4) days per week during school year) and be accessible to students and families, including scheduled weekend hours Communicate and coordinate with school staff to provide resources to students and families Participate in the ABCToday Network (if applicable) •   Coordinate paid and volunteer mentors: Recruit and enroll community-based volunteers into group mentoring program Collaborate with paid mentors and ensure they have appropriate supports and training Provide regular updates to mentors and communicate all upcoming activities, experiences, and group meetings so that mentors can fully participate. •   Support the development of the ABCToday Group Mentoring structure by: Collaborate with other departments within agency to support group mentoring i.e., enrollment, recruitment, and marketing/communications Develop documentation and processes for supporting group mentoring and individual students Create semester and yearly plans for the group outlining goals and activities planned Participate in the development of new outcome reports, specifically focused on the identified cohort  •   Other Duties as assigned.
