Role Overview:

As an Accountant you will support day-to-day accounting operations for clinic operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with AniCura Group standards, and effective collaboration with business partners and external advisors. The role will contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes, as well as ERP and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to daily accounting activities for clinic operations in Poland.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries in Oracle and group reporting systems (including inventory and bad debt).

  • Perform sales reconciliations, VAT settlements, and balance sheet reconciliations using BlackLine.

  • Coordinate with external accounting service providers and verify delivered services.

  • Support statutory financial statements and tax reporting in collaboration with external advisors.

  • Ensure compliance with AniCura Group accounting standards and support implementation of new policies.

  • Monitor local accounting and regulatory developments with advisors and SSC leadership.

  • Support ERP system changes.

  • Contribute to ad-hoc tasks and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education & Professional Qualifications

  • Academic degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of accounting/finance experience in large, matrix organizations, SSCs, and/or audit firms.

  • Hands-on experience with GL accounting and month/year-end closings.

  • Experience with Oracle ERP preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Fluent English and Polish required (Polish preferred for local communication).

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
