What we do?
The position of Front-End Developer will be part of the EMEA Experience domain鈥檚 application development team that builds a digital platform for Fiserv customers all over the world which allows them to manage and monitor their business through a central, single access point. It is a distribution channel for new products and tools for merchants.
What you will be doing?
You will join one of our scrum teams working on our product backlog as Front-End Developer. Each team is composed from at least one UI Developer, API Developer, Business Analyst, QA and Scrum Master. You will closely cooperate with other team members to deliver product increments each sprint.
This means that you will:
路 work with the Business Analyst to make sure that the requirements are clear for you and the team
路 contribute and add new features, resolve bugs, and refactor/improve the code base
路 collaborate with API developers on the creation and integration of UI with new/modified API endpoints
路 cover implemented UI changes with unit and e2e tests
路 perform code review for developers from other teams
路 cooperate with QAs to ensure high quality of the delivered piece of software
Besides that, you will also collaborate with other Front-End Developers to make sure that the quality of our application constantly improves.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate needs to have:
路 5+ years of experience in a similar role
路 strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience
路 strong knowledge of Angular, HTML, and CSS/SCSS
路 excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
路 good working knowledge of version control and code review tools (Git, GitLab)
路 a proactive, collaborative approach and ownership mindset
路 excellent written and spoken English
Apart from the above, if you feel comfortable with any of below mentioned points, it will be considered as a plus:
路 degree/diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a relevant field
路 familiarity with Docker
路 comfortable writing developer tests (e.g., Jest, Karma)
路 familiarity with current front-end tools and best practices
路 experience working in high-performance Agile Scrum teams
