Hendrick Manufacturing is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Generalist to join our team at our Carbondale, Pennsylvania facility. This is a hands-on, manufacturing-based role supporting multiple locations and may require occasional travel. The position plays a critical role in delivering day-to-day HR operations and ensuring consistent application of HR processes across the organization. About the Role Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for executing a full range of HR generalist functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings strong HR operations experience, works well independently, and can manage both administrative and employee-facing responsibilities with accuracy, urgency, and professionalism. This role requires strong HRIS experience (Paycom preferred) and significant involvement in HR transactions, including data entry, recruiting, benefits enrollment, and leave of absence administration. Key Responsibilities Full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions Onboarding, orientation, and policy implementation HRIS administration and data entry (Paycom preferred) Benefits enrollment support and administration Leave of absence (LOA) tracking and administration Employee relations and performance management support Workers’ compensation, OSHA, and safety-related HR support Compliance reporting, audits, and HR data management Support of employee engagement, training, and HR initiatives General HR administrative duties as required  QualificationsQualifications – Required Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience Strong recruiting experience (manufacturing environment preferred) Working knowledge of EEO, FLSA, OSHA, and employment law compliance Experience with HRIS systems; Paycom strongly preferred Hands-on experience with recruiting and LOA management required Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication skills with ability to work across all levels of the organization High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality Qualifications – Preferred HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong background in employee relations and HR compliance Why Join Us Join a company with 150 years of manufacturing excellence and stability Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits including 401K and monthly profit-sharing opportunities Hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment Culture rooted in safety, quality, integrity, and teamwork Commitment to continuous improvement and employee development
