Job DetailsJob Location: Hendrick Manufacturing - Carbondale, PA 18407Education Level: High School/GEDTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: AnyJob Category: ManufacturingThe shift for this position is Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM BASIC FUNCTION: Under moderate supervision, verifies and keeps records on outgoing material. Performs tasks to ship, pick, store, load, and pack materials as needed. MAJOR DUTIES: Picks material for parts orders. Verifies identification of part and quantity required. Packs material for safe shipment to customers. Operates forklifts, hydraulic hand pallet trucks, and electric hoists to load and unload materials as needed. Prepares all necessary paperwork and documentation for the processing of work orders and the shipment of parts orders. Develops and maintains a good working relationship with all internal departments and with all outside suppliers and service providers. Cycle counts inventory as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: A thorough knowledge of material handling is required. Experience in the operation of forklifts, pallet trucks and electric hoists are preferred. Skills may be gained through on-the-job training and/or specialized training.  Must be able to pass a basic math test. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequent climbing, bending, twisting and/or lifting approximately 55 pounds (and periodically heavier loads approximately 80 pounds) will be required.
