We are seeking passionate, service-oriented, positive and hard-working individuals with a love for health and wellness, and an excitement for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Room Setup & Breakdown:
Set up tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment according to banquet event orders (BEOs).
Arrange staging, dance floors, podiums, and audio-visual equipment as requested.
Disassemble setups and return equipment to designated storage areas after events.
Cleanliness & Maintenance:
Maintain the cleanliness of banquet spaces, ensuring they are presentable before and after events.
Inspect and report any damaged or missing equipment to the Banquet Manager.
Event Preparation:
Collaborate with the Banquet Manager and catering staff to confirm event layouts and requirements.
Ensure proper placement of signage, decorations, and other event materials.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow safety protocols while handling furniture, equipment, and electrical systems.
Ensure all setups comply with local fire and safety regulations.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the banquet team and other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Respond to last-minute changes or adjustments to setups promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
Experience:
Previous experience in banquet or event setup preferred, but not required.
Experience in hospitality or resort settings is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
