We're looking for a skilled Trailer Mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced environment. This role is critical to keeping our operation running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, and able to balance planned maintenance and project work with urgent repair needs as they arise.   • Perform DOT Inspections
  • Diagnose and repair trailer systems
  • Repair Brake, Suspension, air systems, lights, electrical issues and hydraulic issues
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Maintain equipment to standards set by Federal Motor Carrier & DOT for motor vehicle inspections and safety standards.
  • You are happy to work a 2nd shift or 3rd shift schedule with some weekends.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong experience with trailer repair and maintenance
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Willing to work independently and as part of a team
  • Has minimum tools for heavy trailer repair, list will be provided.
  • Frequently works in a crouched position or on back lying on mechanic’s dolly beneath motor vehicle equipment; subjected to dust, dirt, and grease conditions
  • Work well on a team dedicated to proper fleet maintenance
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Class A CDL (preferred)
