Director of IT Client Services - Remote

Lead at the intersection of cybersecurity, technology, and client success.

ComplyAuto is looking for a Director of IT Client Services who can do more than manage technology-you'll become a trusted technical partner to our clients.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced IT leader who enjoys staying close to the work. You'll combine hands-on technical expertise, client relationship management, cybersecurity knowledge, and service leadership to help our clients strengthen their privacy and security posture. The role is fully remote and begins as a hands-on individual contributor position, with the opportunity to grow into leading a Client IT Services team.

What You'll Make Happen

You'll own the client IT experience from both a technical and a relationship perspective. You will:

  • Serve as the trusted technical contact for key clients, translating their business needs into effective IT solutions.
  • Build strong, lasting client relationships while partnering closely with our Customer Success and Sales teams.
  • Help clients identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Configure and troubleshoot security scanners, security scans, and partner solutions.
  • Establish scalable processes, standards, and operating practices for Client IT Services.
  • Build a strong IT Service Management environment aligned with ITIL best practices.
  • Monitor service performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and proactively raise the bar for client satisfaction.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends and turn that knowledge into better services for our clients.
  • Provide senior leadership with meaningful reporting on service performance, client satisfaction, and project milestones.
  • Help build, train, and develop the Client IT Services team as the function grows.

What You Bring

You're the kind of IT professional who is equally comfortable troubleshooting a technical issue, advising a client, improving a process, and explaining a complex security topic to a non-technical stakeholder.

We're looking for someone with:

  • 8+ years of IT experience, including direct client-facing experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) technologies.
  • Experience implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across diverse IT environments.
  • Experience conducting and remediating vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to make complex technical topics clear and actionable.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, ITSM platforms, and related industry standards.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time, providing the opportunity to engage directly with clients and partners outside the employee's home office

Even Better If You Have

Experience in the automotive industry, relevant certifications such as CISSP or CCSP, or availability aligned with Eastern or Central time zones will help you stand out.

Why This Role Is Different

This isn't a position where you'll simply oversee a function from a distance. You'll have the opportunity to build it.

You'll work directly with clients, solve meaningful technical and security challenges, create the processes and standards that shape Client IT Services, and help define how the function scales as ComplyAuto grows.

If you're energized by the idea of combining technical depth, cybersecurity, client partnership, and operational leadership-and you want your work to have a visible impact-we'd like to hear from you.

Salary Range: Base salary range of $155,000-$170,000 commensurate with experience and skills.

Benefits You'll Receive

  • 401(k) $1 to $ 1 match up to 5%
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance; we pay 100% of premiums for employee and family
  • HSA contribution for qualifying plans
  • Unlimited Paid time off and 11 observed holidays
  • Full-time remote opportunity, equipment provided
