Job DetailsJob Location: Des Moines - Des Moines, IA 50047Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $50,000.00 - $56,000.00 SalaryTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: AnyThe Field Market Manager is responsible for overseeing local event execution activities, transportation, inventory management, and staffing through the greater Des Moines market.  The role ensures the efficient movement and management of assets, equipment, and personnel while supporting the successful execution of experiential marketing programs, tours, activations, and client initiatives. The Field Market Manager provides leadership to operational staff while driving efficiency, cost control, safety, and service excellence throughout the organization. Essential Functions: Attend, lead,  and manage on-site events with local team members Lead client and internal team meetings to ensure program objectives, logistics, staffing, and activation details are clearly communicated and executed Recruit, develop, schedule, and manage local field staff to support program requirements Develop and implement initiatives focused on labor reduction, operational efficiency, cost control and continuous process improvement Manage inventory through company established inventory management systems  Communicate transportation needs to appropriate internal teams and coordinate resources accordingly Ensure program vehicles, equipment, and operational assets are properly maintained and compliant with company standards Maintain accurate reporting and recordkeeping systems to monitor operational performance, inventory, and labor costs Coordinate and monitor all phases of event logistics, transportation, warehousing, and production support activities Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful program execution Ensure compliance with company policies including safety requirements, DOT regulations, and operational standards Prepare forecasts, staffing plans, performance metrics, inventory and client required reports Serves as market level resource for event operations, staffing, and field execution   QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration or a related field preferred Experience: 2-4+ years in brand management and/or experiential/integrated marketing including field operations Experience supervising employees and managing staffing resources Experience working with budgets, forecasting, and operational plans Skills: Strong communication, leadership and team management skills  Excellent organizational and problem solving skills with an attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Flexibility, versatility, and willingness to take on a range of responsibilities and maintain effective processes Vehicle product knowledge is a plus Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds Schedule: Schedule based on business needs and will vary on the season Ability to travel 10-15% as needed (client/agency meetings, in-market trainings, in-market quality control to maintain the health of your assigned clients/programs)
