We’re hiring a Project Engineer to join our Central Engineering team in Carlisle, PA—an ideal role for an engineer who enjoys leading projects, solving complex challenges, and seeing ideas come to life on the plant floor.

In this position, you’ll take ownership of capital projects from concept through commissioning, supporting the installation and optimization of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You’ll collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, and EH&S to improve reliability, safety, and performance across our plants. This role blends mechanical design, electrical systems, and hands-on execution—offering variety, visibility, and real impact.

 

What you’ll do:
• Lead capital projects including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
• Recommend, specify, and procure manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and improve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Support control systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and basic automation integration
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal teams during installations and startups
• Provide technical training and support to plant personnel

 

What you bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, project, or plant engineering
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plus working understanding of electrical controls and power distribution
• Ability to read and interpret both mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
