Truck Service Specialist

Field-Based | 80%-100% Travel Required

Are you an experienced truck service leader who thrives on developing teams, improving operations, and driving performance across multiple locations? LV Petroleum is looking for a Truck Service Specialist to support and elevate our truck service operations across our growing network.

This is a field-based leadership role requiring 80%-100% travel each week to support locations throughout the Northeast, Midwest, and Upper Midwest regions. The ideal candidate has experience leading multiple managers, coaching teams, improving operational processes, and delivering results in a fast-paced service environment.

What You'll Do
  • Provide field leadership and operational support for multiple truck service locations
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Shop Managers and service leadership teams
  • Partner with location leaders to improve productivity, customer service, and operational performance
  • Evaluate shop processes, identify opportunities, and implement solutions to improve efficiency
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of service team members and leaders
  • Drive accountability around safety, quality, service standards, and financial performance
  • Analyze operational metrics and create action plans to improve results
  • Assist with troubleshooting operational challenges across locations
  • Build strong relationships with field teams and provide hands-on leadership support
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry best practices
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in truck service, automotive, diesel, or fleet maintenance operations
  • Previous leadership experience managing managers, multiple locations, or large service teams
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and team development skills
  • Proven ability to improve operational performance and achieve business goals
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and execute improvement plans
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel extensively
