Job Title: BE/BC Hematology/Oncology Physician
Location: Southeast New Mexico


Healthcare United is seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physicians to join a multi-specialty group alongside two other physicians in Southeast New Mexico. This position offers the opportunity to work in a well-established practice with a large support staff and access to an on-site infusion center.

Position Details:

  • Outpatient clinic: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
  • Base salary: $425,000 plus production incentives.
  • On-site Infusion Center for chemotherapy administration.
  • J-1 candidates are welcome to apply.

Duties:

  • Diagnose and treat patients with cancer, solid tumors, and benign/malignant blood disorders.
  • Provide care on both inpatient and outpatient basis.
  • Write and administer chemotherapy orders, perform bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures.
  • Evaluate oncology emergencies and treatment-related complications.
  • Refer patients to radiation oncology and surgery services as needed.
  • Provide consultation services to other healthcare professionals.
  • Full-size medical laboratory and radiology on-site for all lab work, including tumor markers.


Requirements


  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Completion of a US-accredited fellowship in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Completion of 3 years Residency in Internal Medicine
  • Active or pending medical license to practice in New Mexico.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
