About the Role:

The Liquid Measurement Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate measurement and monitoring of liquid volumes within industrial and commercial settings. This position is responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of liquid measurement instruments and systems to guarantee precise data collection. The technician will collaborate closely with operations and engineering teams to support process optimization and regulatory compliance. By maintaining high standards of measurement accuracy, the role directly impacts inventory control, billing accuracy, and operational efficiency. Ultimately, the Liquid Measurement Technician ensures that all liquid measurement activities meet safety, quality, and environmental standards across various sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification 
  • Proven experience working with liquid measurement instruments and systems in an industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of calibration procedures and measurement principles for liquids.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Valid driver’s license 

Preferred Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Experience in oil & gas measurement or instrumentation
  • Experience with Totalflow FB3000, FB107, and Schneider systems required
  • Knowledge of LACT units and liquid measurement systems
  • Familiarity with flow meters, transmitters, and troubleshooting
  • Basic electrical and automation knowledge preferred
  • Ability to work independently in the field
  • Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities:

  • Install, calibrate, and maintain liquid measurement devices such as flow meters, level sensors, and sampling equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and performance tests to verify the accuracy and reliability of measurement instruments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to liquid measurement systems, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of calibration, maintenance activities, and measurement data for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process improvements and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Provide technical support and training to operations personnel on the proper use and maintenance of measurement equipment.
  • Ensure all work complies with company policies, industry standards, and government regulations.
