DISC Surgery Center is seeking a Full-Time Surgical Technologist for our Carlsbad location. This position will have a Monday - Friday schedule and assist with orthopedic, spinal and pain management procedures.  In this position, you will: Assists with the preparation of the operating room for surgical procedures. Assist with skin preparations and with draping of patients Assists with care, preparation, maintenance, and after-care of sterile and un-sterile supplies and equipment. Removes drapes at the end of the procedure, cleanses the patients of prep solution, and applies dressing as needed. Clean and disinfect instruments and equipment after use Participate in sponge, instrument, and needle count with the circulating nurse. Assists with stocking, replenishing, and preparation of supplies. Checks updated schedule every morning and prepares room supplies and equipment. Back up materials manager in placing orders for supplies and implants. QualificationsTo ensure success in this role, you should be a: Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technician Program. 2 years plus of working experience as a Surgical Tech Successful completion of BCLS Course within 90 days of employment or current BCLS certification   Pay Range: $30.00 - $45.00/hour Why Should You Work Here: Nationally Recognized Surgeons: Join a team of surgeons with national recognition in the fields of spine and sports medicine.
