QUICK OVERVIEW (TL;DR)
We’re hiring an Associate Mitigation Project Manager (APM) — a hands-on training role designed to develop future Project Managers in a fast-growing restoration business in New York. This is a structured development position where you'll learn the full project lifecycle and gradually take ownership of mitigation jobs under the guidance of a Senior PM.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in restoration, gain real field experience, and grow into full Project Management responsibility.

THE ROLE – WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
  • Train directly under a Senior Mitigation Project Manager.
  • Learn to scope and manage water, mold, and environmental losses.
  • Build strong documentation habits (photos, notes, moisture logs, job files).
  • Use industry tools and software (DocuSketch, mobile apps, job management systems).
  • Support inspections, job planning, and field coordination.
  • Coordinate crews, equipment, vendors, and schedules.
  • Communicate with customers, building staff, and adjusters.
  • Gradually manage smaller mitigation projects end-to-end with oversight.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Comfortable working in the field and on job sites.
  • Strong communication and basic tech skills (apps, mobile devices, computers).
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Restoration or mitigation experience.
  • Exposure to Xactimate, Symbility, or DocuSketch.
  • Field coordination, crew leadership, or project support experience.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Base salary: $50K–$60K
  • Total compensation potential: $60K–$95K+ (base + performance incentives)
