Job Summary:

The Sr. Sales Manager, Fleet Rentals will be the company’s sales leader in the NY/NJ market overseeing rentals of commercial motorhomes, trailers, and trucks. This is an exciting area of growth for Quixote and we are looking for a leader invigorated by the opportunity to expand a business.

This position is responsible for maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships while also identifying and building relationships with new clients. The Sr. Manager must stay well-informed of what’s happening in the market with both our clients and our competitors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the initiative and problem-solving skills required to win business in a highly competitive market.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients in both the Commercials and Events spaces for the motorhomes business and the TV and Film spaces for our trailers and trucks business.

  • Understand the needs and concerns of transportation clients in the TV and Film industries and find ways to win their trust and ultimately their business.

  • Possess a thorough knowledge of competitors' pricing, equipment features, and marketing.

  • Ensure continuity of strong relationships with clients of the motorhomes business.

  • Oversee the work of a team of Rental Agents to ensure they maintain the highest standards of customer support.

  • Continually evaluate and improve the customer journey for your lines of business.

  • Partner with Director, Sales at Sunset Pier 94 (operated by a sister company) on sales efforts to clients booked on those stages.

  • Partner with LA resources such as SVP, Sales and SVP, Ops to continually ensure the fleet mix and quality in the NY/NJ market meets the needs of the clients.

  • Work with local fleet management team to ensure the units meet the quality standards expected of our clients, and support operations in client management if issues arise during a rental.

  • Collaborate with the Quixote marketing department on efforts to further grow our brand awareness in the NY/NJ market.

  • Assist Finance team in the development of monthly revenue forecasts for the department.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years' experience in sales

  • 5+ years' experience in leadership positions.

  • Knowledge and passion for physical production in the commercial, television, and film industries. Existing relationships within these industries a plus.

  • The ability to work independently, successfully manage accounts, work under pressure, and adapt to changes in the work environment is essential. A self-starter who comes up with ideas rather than waiting to be told what to do.

  • A true desire to meet and exceed the expectations of internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience collaborating and communicating with various teams with a proven track record of using insights to influence executives, colleagues, and clients.

  • Ability to execute multiple bookings with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • College degree is a plus.

  • Ability to work in the office and also travel to client meetings.

  • Must have reliable transportation.
