Description

Arms Acres is looking for a RN for our inpatient facility located in Carmel, Ny.


 6a-230p, 5 days per week, rotating weekends 

 2:30p-11p, 5 days per week, rotating weekends


Initiates nursing process utilizing the nursing assessment tool and on an ongoing basis, by planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating nursing care based on clinical knowledge, patients' needs and a collection of data.

Develops and updates treatment plans to address nursing diagnosis and reviews with the multidisciplinary team to provide input for diagnosis, length of stay and readiness for the next level of care.

Implements detoxification procedure where indicated and delivers appropriate care according to withdrawal scale and physician's orders.

Retrieves orders and administers correct medications per physician's orders and facilitates procedure and policy. Maintains updated knowledge or withdrawal medications and modalities used in addictions treatments.

Records and reports to appropriate care providers any information that may impact the patient's treatments or continuing care, and completes medical discharge form.

Requirements

Unit nurses will be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current valid RN license to practice in the State of New York

Substance Abuse Treatment Experience Preferred
