Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy & Compliance: Support North American HR goals and location strategy while ensuring full compliance with all federal and state employment laws.
  • Employee & Manager Partnership: Build strong relationships across all levels by providing expert HR guidance, effective communication, and employee relations support including orientations, counseling, and exit interviews.
  • Talent & Organizational Development: Identify training needs, enhance employee capabilities, and support organizational development initiatives with effective, scalable solutions.
  • HR Operations & Process Improvement: Lead salary administration, policy execution, and key HR projects while driving continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and resolve challenges.
  • Problem-Solving & Stakeholder Management: Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting, customer service, and partnership skills to cultivate a collaborative, high‑performing workplace culture.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or automotive supplier environments
  • Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws (EEOC, NLRB, CRC, FMLA, ADA, FLSA) and multi‑state HR practices
  • HR Process Expertise: Proven ability to develop and implement effective HR processes, tools, and organizational development solutions
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong relationship‑building skills with experience working cross‑functionally in complex, global, matrixed environments
  • Strategic & Hands‑On: Able to balance strategic planning with day‑to‑day execution; strong business acumen and a practical, “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” approach
