Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Occupational Therapist, you will help pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment programs using current and effective methodologies so they can improve their functional abilities and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Every day you will complete patient evaluations within 48 hours of initiation, including thorough assessments of relevant areas and the establishment of appropriate, problem-focused goals. You will be expected to provide effective and adequate treatment, adapt goals and treatment interventions based on ongoing assessment, educate patients and families, and meticulously document all care in compliance with department policy.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate competency in occupational therapy techniques, standards, principles, and procedures, have a strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, possess the ability to assess patient conditions based on pathophysiological principles, and be skilled in developing and implementing appropriate patient treatment plans.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Completed an accredited school of Occupational Therapy and Previous experience as a OccupationalTherapist or Occupational Therapist student/ intern
  • Occupational Therapist: CA, within 6 - months.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Previous experience as a Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist student/ intern
