RESPONSIBILITES: Receive all filings in the Tribal Court. Receive all phone calls. Customer service. Computer skills Outlook, Microsoft Word and Internet. Schedule hearings and ensure parties receive full notice of hearings. Work closely and respectfully with the Tribal Court Judges, Work with Tribal Attorney, and Social Services staff, Serve as Clerk to the Judge for all Tribal Court hearings and manage the Tribal Court calendar. Provide clerical support for the Judge as requested. Maintain all court files ensuring all documents are filed appropriately and in a secure and organized manner. Maintain strict confidentiality. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma, supplemented by legal or business courses or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Strong typing and computer skills including office software proficiency Excellent customer service and verbal communication Attention to detail Ability to handle confidential data with discretion and remain calm in high pressure situations REQUIREMENTS: Must be willing to submit to and pass the required background investigation based upon the nature of the position and any other applicable requirements. Must be willing to submit to and pass drug testing as required in the Kiowa Tribe Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
