Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate manual machinery to produce parts.Â
- Read and interpret blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and specifications for parts.Â
- Create prints and drawings.Â
- Select the appropriate tooling and material based on the project.Â
- Examines and measures completed units and parts to identify any defects and to ensure units conform with predetermined specifications; adjusts machine controls to resolve production errors.Â
- Inspect machinery for any needed repairs; performs minor repairs within expertise.Â
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area.Â
- Compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.Â
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.Â

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to operate various types of machinery.Â
- Ability to read blueprints and plans.Â
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.Â
- Ability to program in G code and conversational.Â
- Excellent mechanical skills.Â

Education and Experience Requirements
5+ years of experience in machining. 3G and 4G welding certification a plus.Â

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.Â
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.Â
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move, as needed.
