Join our Maintenance team at Covenant Living at Windsor Park as a Maintenance Technician II in Carol Stream, IL. Covenant Living at Windsor Park is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) within the not-for-profit Covenant Living organization.

The Maintenance Technician II position will be responsible for providing maintenance services to keep the facility buildings, grounds, and equipment in good repair. In so doing, significant contributions are made to the safety, well-being and comfort of residents and employees.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete assigned work requests and assigned preventative maintenance work orders as assigned by supervisor such as, but not limited to auto/small engine mechanics, carpentry, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, emergency generators, low voltage applications, fire alarms, valves, fixtures, locks in accordance with campus procedures and industry acceptable standards.
  • Inspects facilities, systems and their components for the purpose of ensuring safety and cleanliness and identifying necessary repairs.
  • Must be able to use a variety of hand tools and small power tools and other power tools. Maintains tools and/or equipment for ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition.
  • Requires general labor and responsibility for event set-ups, deliveries and moves.
  • Troubleshoot building and equipment issues as they arise.
  • Willingness to learn and expand trade knowledge of maintenance and facilities.
  • Have availability to be included in the on-call schedule.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Required Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Certificate(s): Valid Driver’s License and Certifications in applicable field
  • Experience: 1+ Years

Compensation Pay Range:

$19.13 - $25.43 per hour

Reasonable Pay Estimate

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $19.13 - $25.43 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
