Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Headquarters - Carol Stream, IL 60188Salary Range: $107,000.00 - $133,000.00 Salary/yearPurpose of the role: To define and evolve engineering architecture by establishing technologies, system structures, and guiding principles that anticipate how products are developed, create clarity upfront, and enable consistent, efficient, and future-ready execution.  Key Accountabilities: Architectural Asset Development: Design and develop modular, reusable architectural assets (components, reference designs, frameworks, or code) for adoption within Product Development. Technology and Platform Definition: Define and evolve technologies and platforms to drive consistency and reduce rework. Architecture & System Structure Definition: Define system-level architectures that clearly describes how solutions are intended to work. Upfront Architectural Clarity: Translate technical problems into clear architectural direction before development begins. Technical Tradeoff Guidance: Guide early tradeoff decisions by clarifying constraints, options, and implications. Decision Readiness & Alignment: Enable faster decisions by through clear, aligned architectural inputs. Principles, Standards & Guidelines: Define architectural principles, standards, and tools that teams can consistently apply. Platform & Reuse Enablement: Identify opportunities for reuse and modularity to improve speed, quality, and scalability.
